The LEONSEGS project recently secured a presence at the 3rd Annual Copernicus Contributing Missions (CCM) Workshop, which took place from October 20 to 22. 

This is an important event for the Earth Observation (EO) community, as it brings together the companies that supply vital satellite data to the EU’s Copernicus Programme. 

LEONSEGS was actively promoted at the workshop, with its dedicated poster displayed right at the booth of partner Aistech Space. This gave the project an important opportunity to showcase its goal—building a federated ground segment—directly to the providers who are essential to the future of the Copernicus data ecosystem. 

The visibility gained at the CCM Workshop reinforces the project’s relevance to Europe’s ongoing strategy to integrate diverse satellite assets seamlessly.
