The LEONSEGS project recently secured a significant boost in profile at the ESA Living Planet Symposium 2025, held in Vienna from June 22-27. This major event provided an opportunity to showcase the project to a wider audience of key figures within the Earth Observation community.

The LEONSEGS consortium partner, Aistech Space, had a strong presence at the symposium. The team presented the project and its key objectives to attendees, engaging with a wide range of people. Additionally, representatives from fellow project partners, including GMV and PLUS, met to discuss the project’s progress and upcoming activities.

Beyond these consortium meetings, the Aistech Space team chatted with a wide range of attendees, including researchers, official representatives, and private sector individuals. These conversations were invaluable for making more people aware of the LEONSEGS project and sparking interest in its goals.

The LEONSEGS e-poster on display at the stand also did its bit, drawing attention from passers-by and leading to more informal chats and engagement.
